Challenges & Wins
As part of one of the most renowned and oldest independent financial institutions in the Netherlands, Evi faced restrictions in communication, limiting certain aspects of its branding and messaging. However, we had the advantage of leveraging Van Lanschot's advanced technology, providing a solid foundation to enhance Evi's digital offering.
The Assignment
Amid a rapidly evolving digital banking landscape, Evi needed to elevate its brand positioning and refine its product offering to ensure greater clarity and relevance.
The Brand manifest
To make the brand genuinely personal, I lead the team to craft a manifesto that articulates Evi’s role with clarity and intent. It defines who Evi is, what she stands for and how she guides clients in managing their wealth. The manifesto captures the brand’s purpose, values and promise in a way that is both human and actionable, giving clients a clear sense of how Evi supports them throughout their financial journey.
Brand Prism
To bring clarity to a complex brand, I developed a structured prism that translates the core of Evi van Lanschot into a clear, decision-ready overview. It distills the brand’s claim, values and desired perception into one coherent framework. This allowed leadership to see the brand’s essence at a glance and provided a solid foundation for the design principles that shaped the new visual identity.
To express the future direction of the brand, I reimagined the logo in a way that brings clarity, confidence and strategic alignment. Removing the old bounding box freed the brand from a visual constraint that no longer matched its ambition. By integrating the Van Lanschot tree mark, the identity gains immediate recognition and leverages the authority of the parent brand.
The result is a logo that feels more open, more modern and more connected to the heritage and expertise that set Evi apart.

To define where Evi needs to go in the coming years, I developed a long-term horizon framework that gives leadership a clear view of the brand’s strategic direction. Through a series of focused workshops, we mapped how Evi can evolve from a one-way service into a truly digital, conversational and supportive wealth platform.
The outcome is a blueprint that translates this ambition into a clear, staged transformation. It outlines the technological implications, the required product shifts and the features needed to meet future client expectations.
This roadmap gives Evi a forward view: a way to stay ahead of industry trends, elevate the user experience and build deeper, more personal client relationships. It gives leadership clarity on the horizons that matter and a structured path to reach them.
Evi Digital Environment
To push Evi’s identity into the future, I defined the design vision and guided the team in creating a brighter, more scalable visual direction. By evolving the typography into a lighter and more contemporary expression, the platform gained a tone that feels both modern and approachable.
Under this vision, we introduced augmented reality and conversational interfaces to strengthen engagement and raise the level of personalization across the journey. Drawing on Van Lanschot’s technological capabilities, we shaped a digital environment that is more adaptable, seamless and intelligent.
This renewed direction provides users with clearer insight into their financial goals and progress, turning the experience into something more intuitive, more supportive and markedly more empowering.
